Learning MeetUps
Learning 2014 will feature MeetUps for real-time learning.
Even with 175 breakout sessions, participants want more: personalized learning is what learning professionals want for themselves, too! Learning 2014 is honored to introduce Learning MeetUps, a form of real-time learning content that is organized by learners for learners – on the spot.
“This is all about real-time learning”, said Elliott Masie, Host & Curator of Learning 2014, to be held in Orlando from Oct 26 - 29. Over 1,600 global colleagues will have the added option of organizing and participating in dozens of MeetUps throughout the event. MeetUps are all about:
- Content
- Context
- Conversations
- Confusion
- Collaboration
- Chatting
- Curious Discovery
- Concrete Stories
Even with so many great breakout sessions, participants will want content that we as instructional producers just didn't consider or schedule.
"Just today, someone asked for a session all about Salaries. They want to talk with other learning colleagues about salary expectations, experiences and more. So, Learning 2014 will have a MeetUp on Learning Salaries and Trends."
No leaders. No flipcharts. No overheads. No sales pitches. Just a few (or sometimes more than a few) participants chatting.
