Make Real Ltd has released an immersive learning experience "D&I Perspectives" for Oculus Quest and Quest 2 Virtual Reality (VR) headsets and desktop & mobile browsers for soft-skills training around microaggressions within the workplace.

Leading UK immersive learning experience studio Make Real Ltd has released a new content application designed to start discussions within enterprise organisations about microaggressions within the workplace.

"D&I Perspectives" is a 20 minute immersive experience available for Oculus Quest and Quest 2 VR headsets and desktop & mobile browsers that is based upon four real-world stories set within a global financial institution. Complemented with a workshop guide and supporting materials, learners are invited to follow the progress through a normal day in the office, through the eyes of an employee. Utilising unique live actor stereo capture and 3D CG rendered backgrounds, the learner feels present as they meet their fellow colleagues.

Once their journey is complete, they are asked to select who they think they were, after listening to four real-world stories of microaggressions within the workplace, presented in an illustrated, animated format not seen in VR before. At this point the learner is asked to remove the headset and join in the discussion with the rest of the group about what they have witnessed and experienced themselves.

This experience will be available to try out on the Make Real Ltd stand (#37) at Learning Live 2021 expo, September 8th & 9th at etc.venue, London UK. The content is available for deployment within enterprise organisations through off-the-shelf licensing options for: Oculus Quest and Quest 2 consumer users through the Oculus Quest App Lab Store; Oculus for Business customers; hosted web-based version for desktop and mobile browsers; LMS package.
