Dimension Data Learning Solutions appoints national vendor and marketing manager
Dimension Data Learning Services has appointed Gary Duffield to its leadership team as national vendor and marketing manager.
Amongst Duffield’s responsibilities in this position are the overall strategy, operations, revenue and gross profit generated from all DDLS product sets.
He will also manage DDLS’ product management and marketing team and will sit as part of the senior management team, reporting directly to DDLS chief executive, Mal Shaw. “I’m delighted to join the leadership team at DDLS at a time of significant change in the training industry,” said Duffield.
“I’m fortunate to inherit a very talented product management and marketing team and look forward to growing DDLS’s operations across all its product sets, whilst helping our clients achieve their business objectives through innovative approaches to learning and development." Duffield's previous roles have included chief learning architect at QA Ltd and readiness consultant at Microsoft.
Prior to this appointment, he was national Microsoft product manager at DDLS.
Duffield also sits on the board of the West Australian chapter of the Australian Computer Society, on the steering committee of the Australian Chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners and has recently been invited to join the Microsoft Partner Advisory Council in Redmond. Shaw said it felt natural to hire Duffield.“Gary is a learning specialist who has dedicated his professional career to our industry," he said.
