Learning Technologies 2026 Preview
David Kelly, conference co-chair, Fiona Leteney, market analyst and Anna Barnett from exhibitor Mindtools Kineo join Learning News to preview this year's Learning Technologies event.
Learning Technologies is just around the corner. More than 15,000 are expected this year.
The event reflects the pressures and priorities facing workplace learning: AI and automation moving from pilots into practice, platforms are evolving, data and measurement, and the growing expectation that learning delivers clear business impact.
What happens at Learning Technologies tends to signal where the sector is heading next.
To preview this year’s event Rob Clarke is joined by David Kelly - Learning Technologies conference co-chair, Fiona Leteney - Senior Analyst from Fosway and Dr Anna Barnett from the exhibiting company Mindtools Kineo.
David Kelly, Learning Technologies Conference: ‘In years past we've talked about how AI developments might affect us in the future. This year we are talking about how they are affecting us right now.’
Fiona Leteney, Fosway: ‘We are at a pivotal moment with L&D and surprise surprise it's all about AI. L&D teams need to figure out what they are going to adopt and gain value from.’
Dr Anna Barnett, Mindtools Kineo: ‘Learning Technologies is an energetic event. There is inspiration everywhere. A chance to connect with peers facing similar challenges.’
‘Learning Technologies is the snapshot of where the industry is at each year. It's the largest event in the world that highlights the interesction of learning and technology. It brings the industry together, it's a gathering of the community,’ added David Kelly.
Learning Technologies comprises a conference programme with around 80 speakers, an exhibition of 200 learning providers and is co-located with HR Technologies UK.
