Aiming to change your L&D practice? First, shift your perspective

LondonLearning NewsLearning Technologies

Shannon Tipton, Laura Overton and Michelle Ockers join the upcoming LTDX 2.0 conference from three different continents to share tips and techniques for how learning professionals can emerge stronger from the chaos over the last year.

The historic events of 2020 created incredible opportunity for learning leaders as the demand for workplace learning rapidly evolved. With that came an opportunity to take advantage of growing business interest and collaboration, to work in tandem with the business vs for the business.

But, when we are also reeling from the change, this is easier said than done.

So, how do we use the chaos to become a stronger version of ourselves? More credible, more valued, and with more self-belief? This is the challenge that Shannon Tipton, Laura Overton and Michelle Ockers have been working on for the last 12 months, drawing on evidence from experts and practitioners around the globe as we have journeyed together to emerge stronger.

Poignant lessons they have learned, through blood sweat and tears, will be shared in this interactive session through three “Ignite” style segments and plenty of practical application to help take you from the chaos of the last 12 months into your stronger brighter future.

The session Aiming to change your L&D practice? First, shift your perspective, takes place during week one of the conference, Friday 25 June at 09:30 BST. In this webinar Michelle, Laura and Shannon will share tips and techniques to help you :

  • Look inwards to reach outwards

  • Use fresh lenses to see new opportunity

  • Check ego at the door to display value

  • Embrace your curious self to shift personal paradigms

  • Change your practice to help others change theirs
