CloserStill Media expands its Germany presence with spring Messe acquisition

Closer Still, the London-based exhibition and conference organiser, has announced it has acquired the German exhibition organiser spring Messe, which operates the Zukunft Personal trade show series for the HR sector. spring Messe was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsch Messe AG. Terms were not disclosed.

Zufunft Personal Europe is Europe’s largest annual event for the human resources sector with an audience of 20,000 HR professionals and an exhibition in excess of 12,500sqm of sold space. The Zukunft Personal events join CloserStill’s corporate learning and development global event network, which includes Online Educa (OEB – Berlin), Learning Technologies in London and Paris, DevLearn (Las Vegas) and Learning (Orlando).

Zukunft Personal Europe is held annually in September and takes place in Cologne, with two further regional events taking place in the spring-time in Hamburg and Stuttgart.

spring Messe operations will continue to be based from the existing office in Mannheim and becomes the hub for CloserStill’s future German activities. CloserStill also operates its successful veterinary, corporate learning and development and technology event brands in Germany.
