Organisations today are focused on digital transformation, and the L&D department has a major role to play in ensuring they are able to achieve it. But what lies behind the buzzwords? How do you actually start the process of transformation and maintain it? Fosway’s Perring and Leteney are here to reveal all.

“Digital transformation in learning is real. Sure, it's become something of a buzz word, but the reality is that over 70% of L&D professionals worldwide say that they are currently transforming learning in their organisations. So, what are they doing, how are they doing it and are they getting it right? And what lessons can you learn to make sure your own transformation runs smoothly?” asks Donald H Taylor, Learning Technologies Summer Forum Conference Chair.

In this practical workshop, David Perring and Fiona Leteney of Fosway Group draw on joint global research with the Learning and Skills Group to ask the key questions that will help the learning profession to understand, prioritise, mobilise, and successfully navigate the digital transformation of learning specifically for the context of their own organisations.

In this thought-provoking keynote, participants will explore and engage in fresh approaches and gain takeaways for sustainable, creative practice.

David Perring’s and Fiona Leneney’s conference session at the Learning Technologies Summer Forum is titled How to succeed in digital learning transformation: a practical workshop:

  • What is the truth about successful digital transformation?
  • What is digital transformation and why does it matter?
  • Understanding your organisation’s context: What’s your impetus for change?
  • What does that mean for your unique L&D transformation
  • How to build your business case and map out your organisation’s journey

The Learning Technologies Summer Forum takes places at London Olympia on 12 June. The full conference programme is available from the Learning Technologies Summer Forum website, along with how to attend, conference booking information and details about the co-located Learning Technologies Summer Forum exhibition.
