Adapt Learning to be launched as a service at DevLearn
Learning Pool, one of Europe's leading learning and technology companies, has announced that it will release a game changing authoring tool service at DevLearn this week.
Developed as a collaborative, Open Source project, Adapt Learning has already created quite a stir in the market. Led by Learning Pool and a group of like-minded leading learning technology organisations, it gives content creators the freedom to engage their audiences and embed knowledge using web development best practice.
Learning Pool's Head of Content, Lindsey Coode, explains more "We originally made the authoring tool available only to Learning Pool customers and the market went crazy for it! Adapt is different to other e-learning content – it scrolls vertically not horizontally so it is more attune with the web. With the latest release, we're delighted that everyone will be able to create gorgeous, deep scrolling and interactive content that runs across multiple devices with ease."
The Adapt Learning authoring tool (Adapt Builder) is the product of more than 18 months development work and intensive beta trials with hundreds of Learning Pool customers across the UK. It makes e-learning development easy for even non-technical learning professionals. With this service from Learning Pool, users will be able to build, edit and customise responsive content that’s been built on the award winning Adapt Learning framework with ease.
Learning Pool’s CEO, Paul McElvaney said, “When we set out on the Adapt Learning adventure we had a vision to change the e-learning industry by delivering a free, easy to use development tool for responsive e-learning. Although we've delivered a lot of that vision with this release, it feels like we've just got started.”
Meet the driving force behind the development of the Adapt Open Source project at DevLearn’s Learning Media Studio Stage on 1st October and find out how Adapt Learning is changing the face of e-learning design.
