Growth Engineering won a double Gold with L'Oreal Travel Retail at the Learning Technologies Awards for the best use of social and collaborative tools and the best overall project. A great achievement to win two golds and all the more remarkable because the same project won two golds last year as well. Four gold awards in total, the most for any single project in the awards' history.

The judges said: ‘This project was very much designed for its target audience, delivering an exceptional user experience that really improved the overall learning experience and engagement, including some clever social and gamification components including battles which brought a real competitive edge. The level of interaction is huge and impact undeniable with a clear link between activity, engagement and sales. Overall the project delivered impressive results including $174m in product sales.’

Matt Tompkins from Growth Engineering joins Learning News to talk about the project and what the judges were looking for.

More interviews with LT Awards winners are being published on Learning News over the next few days.
