LPI launches L&D for Hybrid Working masterclass

UKLearning NewsLPI (Learning and Performance Institute)

Instructor-led masterclass gives L&D professionals the confidence to overcome the potential challenges of hybrid working and satisfy the unique learning needs of a hybrid workforce.

The LPI has launched a brand-new certified masterclass for L&D.

The "L&D for Hybrid Working" masterclass is designed for internal L&D teams who want to provide effective learning for hybrid workers, and need guidance on content strategy and hybrid design/delivery.

The masterclass differs from traditional YouTube tutorials or pre-recorded courses by virtue of being delivered in an instructor-led, live online environment, with cohort-based learning and technique-focused content. The masterclass runs over a 4-week period, with a total of eight sessions plus self-directed preparation. Each session will last 120 minutes. Attendees who complete all programme activities are awarded the LPI certification and digital badge.

By offering the masterclass as a scheduled, virtual event – with a cohort of no more than 12 people - the facilitators aim to maximise attendee interaction and collaborative learning.

The masterclass will focus on several key topics to help L&D professionals:

  • Understand the context of hybrid working and its implications for learning
  • Optimise hybrid working practices for L&D professionals
  • Get expert tips on live-virtual and live-hybrid training design and delivery
  • Make the L&D changes needed to effectively support hybrid workers
  • Re-evaluate learning content and interventions for hybrid workers

The masterclass will be hosted by Gary Cookson, a senior LPI consultant, published author, and leading expert in the field of hybrid working and learning.

"The COVID pandemic has permanently altered the the learning landscape", said Cookson. "The things we used to do no longer work; we are in a totally new environment and we have to do things differently. This masterclass is designed to reframe the mindset of L&D professionals and leaders, giving them practical advice and guidance to not just adapt to this new situation, but to confidently deliver effective learning to remote and hybrid workers for the future."

The first cohort runs from 13 April to 28 April 2023 and is available to reserve online.
