Showcasing the world's best learning programmes
Learning Programmes of Excellence aims to recognise innovative, leading-edge talent development programmes that attract new talent and retain existing employees.
The Learning and Performance Institute today announces Learning Programmes of Excellence (LPE) - a prestigious award that recognises and promotes exceptional, state-of-the-art learning programmes.
Studies show that organisations having innovative and progressive learning programmes are more likely to attract jobseekers, more likely to retain existing employees, and more likely to motivate leadership.
To this end, the LPI has developed an award framework to recognise and showcase the world's best learning programmes. Based on a set of rigorous standards developed through leading members of the learning community, and external review by experienced LPI assessors, LPE will identify key factors that determine quality in the design and delivery of learning programmes and services.
Learning programmes that achieve LPE status will be part of an elite group, and for those organisations who are successful, a validation that their programmes are of outstanding quality, among the very best in the world, leading-edge, engaging, and firmly aligned with business goals.
Eligibility for Learning Programmes of Excellence is world-wide; there are no limitations on programme length, subject, or delivery method.
Commenting on the launch of the new endorsement, Edmund Monk, CEO, Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) said:
"Studies have shown that learning programmes are now crucial weapons in the fight to attract and retain talent. Employees are increasingly seeking out opportunities within organisations having strong learning cultures, with modern and progressive learning programmes offering a clear path to capability development. As the global body for learning organisations and professionals, the LPI is uniquely placed to recognise and endorse the world's most exceptional learning programmes."
LPE is suitable for both internal L&D functions and providers, all of whom aspire to create environments in which people can learn without hindrance.
