LPI appoints new Membership Services Manager
The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) has expanded its Membership Services team with the appointment of Lesley Price to the role of Membership Services Manager.
Lesley has enjoyed an extensive career in the learning sector spanning over twenty years. She was formerly Head of Regeneration and Skills at Becta and has worked as a Vice-Chair and Director of the eLearning Network.
In her new role, Lesley is responsible for managing the Institute's growing membership base. As Membership Services Manager, Lesley's main responsibility is to ensure the provision of a consistently high and proactive service to members, maintaining and enhancing member benefits and Institute services. This is alongside supporting the Institute's international growth strategy.
LPI Managing Director, Edmund Monk, said: "Membership is at the heart of everything we do at the LPI - we want our members to have the best possible service and employing the best staff is crucial to delivering this. We are continually improving our service to ensure we provide the best possible support and benefits to our members and Lesley will be key to ensuring this happens. We are delighted to have such an experienced individual, with a wealth of sector expertise, to take on this vital role."
Commenting on her appointment, Lesley Price, said: "With thousands of individual members, each with varying requirements, it's vital that the Institute offers comprehensive and proactive support. Having worked within the learning sector, I understand the challenges faced and recognise the need to have an independent professional body.
