Institute of IT Training launches new accreditation programme for Learning Facilities
The Institute of IT Training is proud to announce the launch of the Learning Facilities Accreditation Programme (LFAP), the latest addition to their accreditation services.
This programme has been specifically designed for Learning Facilities to align themselves to the Learning Facility Code of Practice which assists the IT training industry to continuously improve industry standards.
The need for an accreditation programme for Learning Facilities has been highlighted as more and more organisations outsource their facilities provision. Training organisations contacting the IITT in search of suitable high quality facilities to run their training programmes can now be assured that venues and facilities holding the IITT LFAP accreditation have guaranteed an outstanding level of quality.
For venues and organisations being awarded the new LFAP standard this will deliver extensive benefits. It will provide enhanced recognition and differentiation in this challenging and growing marketplace. The accreditation process itself allows organisations to assess their strengths and weaknesses objectively and provides a benchmark for improvement.
Once an organisation has become accredited under the LFAP standard, they will be easily identifiable by our members who are seeking training venues and facilities that are committed to the quality and improvements that the LFAP requires, helping to take the pressure out of outsourcing.
Colin Steed, Chief Executive of IITT adds “The Institute is delighted to be launching another accreditation programme to complement an unrivalled industry portfolio. It has become vital to our accredited training organisations to be able to utilise the best facilities, as outsourcing becomes increasingly common. There are more accredited training organisations than ever before, and the vast majority of these have external facility requirements. Learning Facilities accreditation offers all training organizations the qualitative reassurance necessary when selecting a training venue.”
