Bob Mosher gives keynote at IITT National Trainers Conference 2005
The Institute of IT Training has announced that learning and development thought leader Bob Mosher is to fly in from the US to give the keynote address at this year's IITT National Trainers' Conference on 17th May 2005.
The only conference of its type in Europe, the Institute of IT Training’s National Trainers’ Conference, is for trainers and managers looking to grow their skills and keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
Expanded in response to demand from last year’s delegates, the one-day conference this year features no fewer than 15 sessions grouped in three streams: Training Management, Training & Technology Issues, and People & Performance.
Another added feature in this year’s conference is a special Delegate’s Welcome Reception on the evening prior to the conference, giving delegates the chance to exchange ideas with their peers and make friends to keep in touch with throughout the year. Additionally, leading training thought leader Clive Shepherd will address the audience with his often humorous but thought provoking views on the future of IT training and training professionals.
This year’s exhibition is also larger, with no fewer than 15 companies demonstrating the latest products and services in training.
Event director Donald Taylor explained that the Institute is delighted that its keynote address is from one of the world’s top training and development gurus Bob Mosher, who will be coming over from the US especially to address the National Trainers Conference 2005.
“Bob will be addressing the audience on The Changing Learner. The learner we deal with every day is changing - and especially the IT learners. Bob will examine the forces which have brought about these changes, and asks how the learning experience needs to change so that it remains valuable. We are delighted to be presenting the audience with such a world class thought leader in training and development and I hope that no IITT member misses this great opportunity to hear from a leading practitioner as we do not often get chance to do so.”
Event manager, Nicki Kettle said: “With a delegate fee of £195 for IITT members, the conference represents exceptional value for money as a training event alone. In addition, delegates have the chance to network, to meet leading industry lights informally, and to visit the accompanying exhibition, providing access to the latest training products and services. Included in the price are morning and afternoon refreshments, full lunch and conference materials, including a device containing all presentations.”
The event takes place on the evening of Monday 16th (Welcome Reception) and 17th May at the Heritage Motor Museum Conference Centre near Warwick.
