KnowledgePool achieves fifth year as an IITT-accredited provider
KnowledgePool, the learning services company, has been accredited as a training provider - for the fifth year - by the Institute of IT Training, the worldwide professional body for IT trainers.
KnowledgePool differs from other more traditional IT training providers. An expert in outsourcing, it uses experienced associate trainers to deliver innovative training programmes for tens of thousands of staff, each year, using the latest blended learning approaches. Over 200 organisations have outsourced their training programmes to KnowledgePool.
Accreditation by the Institute of IT Training is an independent verification of the high quality of KnowledgePool's training methodology, its course materials and resources, its training staff and the measures it has in place to help clients evaluate the learning benefits from training. The Institute accredits training providers annually following an in-depth assessment.
Rod Edwards, Chief Executive of KnowledgePool, said: "We're very proud to be recognised as an IITT-accredited provider. This is the hallmark of professionalism and expertise in IT training and our clients can be reassured that, with our blend of specialist skills, we meet the required standards and abide by the IITT's code of practice."
Michelle Parish, Assessor for the IITT Accreditation, said: "KnowledgePool is applauded for its commitment to quality, awareness of customer service, receptiveness to new ideas and the desire to implement improvements in a planned and commercially-sensitive manner."
KnowledgePool has over 40 years' experience in the training industry and it manages many millions of pounds worth of training each year on behalf of its clients. As well as deploying and project managing experienced associate trainers, the company provides a web-based suite of software and support services which enables organisations with large numbers of staff, and diverse training needs, to automate the process of selecting and administering training and learning activities. As a vendor-neutral company, which does not have its own training centres to fill, KnowledgePool is wholly-independent in its supplier selection.
Launched in 1995, the Institute of IT Training aims to develop and promote excellence within the IT training profession.
