City & Guilds Kineo shares Learner Engagement Guide at World of Learning Conference 2013
City & Guilds Kineo is to share its award winning techniques for increasing learner engagement at this year’s World of Learning Conference and Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on 2nd October 2013.
By embedding communications and marketing techniques into its learning solutions, City & Guilds Kineo has developed a campaigns based approach that successfully increases learner engagement. This has helped several organisations move beyond simply providing elearning courses and encouraged learners to enjoy and interact with their subject matter.
The free-of-charge session entitled ‘Nod if you can hear me – a guide to increasing learner engagement’ takes place on day two of the event, from 13:30-14:00, and will explore:
• How to avoid boring courses and create learning campaigns instead
• How organisations can reach out to learners and effectively engage them
• How you can see what’s working and what’s not to hone learning success
City & Guilds Kineo director, Stephen Walsh, who will deliver the session commented: “We’ve been saying it for a while: If you’re in the learning team, you better also be in the persuasion business. These days, you need to have a wide set of tools to help your would-be learners get excited. We’ve been successfully using content marketing techniques for a while now to drive up awareness and we’re excited to share some tips and examples.”
