Kineo to share Olympic Themed E-learning in Webinar on Thursday 15th September

Brighton, UKLearning NewsKineo

Coming up with creative ideas in e-learning can be a challenge - even more so when you're trying to connect with disengaged and harder-to reach audiences. Kineo and League Football Association took on that challenge, and will share the design results in a free webinar this week, in conjunction with Learning Technologies Group.

At 10am BST on 15th September, Kineo will be running a session with Learning Technologies Group, sharing our experience on designing and developing a suite of modules with League Football Association using a high-end approach entitled: Developing creative e-learning and overcoming the engagement challenge: A case study on Olympic-themed e-learning.

The aim of the project was to produce a ground-breaking approach to provide re-usable e-learning resources on functional skills for League Football Association apprentices, other Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) apprentices, apprentices in other sectors and learners within traditional school and college programmes, and other hard to reach learners.

Join Kineo's Mark Harrison and David Roe of League Football Association in this webinar where we'll discuss:

  • The challenge of connecting with harder to reach learners
  • Approaches for creativity using high level visual and design approaches - sharing examples of the flexible design
  • Getting the message out there - practical steps for implementation
  • How a flexible design approach helped LFE to create custom versions for their needs

These resources have been created to be re-usable free resources for others in education.

Regardless of your sector or learning goals, you'll benefit from hearing the success story and seeing some of the generic, Olympic-themed e-learning in action. Come and see why this approach has been shortlisted for an E-learning Age Award this year.

The webinar is free to join. Just register with the Learning & Skills Group, then follow the webinar links from the home page. The event password is LSG2011.
