Brighton, UKLearning NewsKineo

Kineo and Marks and Spencer have struck gold at this year's E-learning Age Awards, with the M&S Café Service project being recognised by the judges as the best e-learning private sector project of 2010.

In the hotly contested 'excellence in the production of e-learning - private sector' category, the innovative, results driven approach of the Kineo entry shone through. The judges commended the creative approach, remarkable results, and the client's enthusiasm for the partnership and the project.

Kineo, leaders in custom e-learning, have been partnering with M&S for over four years on a wide range of projects. The Café Service project, the first of its kind in M&S retail, generated some remarkable results, saving over £500k with over 95% positive feedback.

Collecting the award on behalf of M&S, Jason Danciger, Head of Hospitality, said: "This has been one of the most successful training initiatives I have ever seen launched in the catering industry. We saved over half a million pounds, we improved our skill base for our teams that led to incredible commitment and positivity, we improved our customers' experience and as a result became more profitable – what an incredible story of success!"

Kineo director, Stephen Walsh said: "We're immensely proud of or partnership with M&S. This project has been hugely satisfying to work on - it's demonstrated how innovative design and a business focus can deliver tremendous business results. We're delighted for M&S, and for our team, and look forward to more award-winning collaborations in the years ahead.
