Kallidus, the leading provider of learning and talent management solutions, has won five E-Learning Awards including gold in this year’s most popular and competitive award category: best use of blended learning.

Kallidus won awards in all five categories it entered as follows:

  • Gold for ‘Best use of blended learning’ in partnership with Transport for London and Interact
  • Silver for Senior Instructional Designer Joshua Roberts in the ‘E-learning designer of the year’ category
  • Bronze for ‘Best e-learning project public sector’ in partnership with Transport for London
  • Bronze for ‘Best e-learning project private sector’ in partnership with Travis Perkins
  • Bronze for ‘Best learning management system implementation’ in partnership with NHS Business Services Authority

The 2015 E-Learning Awards took place on November 25 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London where more than 700 industry professionals gathered to celebrate how the very best e-learning is making a difference to businesses across every sector. The gala was hosted by comedians Deborah Frances-White and Phill Jupitus.

Said Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus said: “I’m extremely proud of our talented teams and the outstanding results they have achieved by developing innovative solutions in true partnership with our customers. We were over the moon to take home five awards, particularly given the high standard of e-learning today and with this year’s awards being the toughest competition yet.”

The judges were bowled over by the Transport for London (TfL) blended learning programme which received top honours at the awards ceremony. Kallidus is supporting TfL through what is considered to be the largest business transformation project in Europe. The partnership between TfL, Kallidus and Interact has resulted in a highly experiential blended learning programme which has engaged staff and achieved widespread behavioural change and organisational impact. The judges were “wowed by the creativity and transformative nature of this project”.

Kallidus instructional designer Joshua Roberts was delighted to win the silver award for E-learning designer of the year. At just 25, Joshua is the youngest developer to win this highly sought after accolade. He won the award in recognition of his modern and innovative approach to e-learning design as well as his passion for gamification which help clients achieve exceptional results.

Commenting on this year’s success, Philip Pyle, Sales and Marketing Director at Kallidus said: “The E-Learning Awards celebrate just how far e-learning has evolved and the ever-important role it plays in developing talented people. Kallidus is helping to make learning and talent a success in partnership with organisations of all sizes across the globe. Winning all five awards is not only testament to our customers’ dedication and achievements over the last 12 months, but after an exciting year of new investment in our products and expansion of our talented team, I’m proud that Kallidus is also being recognised for our ability to deliver game-changing solutions to support business transformation for a diverse range of partner organisations.”

This has been another successful year for Kallidus at the E-Learning Awards. Kallidus triumphed last year too, taking home three gold awards and with CEO Rob Caul receiving the Outstanding Contribution Award for his contribution to the UK e-learning industry.
