e2train and AstraZeneca have been confirmed as finalists for their joint entry in the prestigious 2011 E-Learning Awards. This is the third consecutive year that e2train has been shortlisted for an E-Learning Award, having won a Gold award in 2010.

This year's winners have been chosen from nearly 250 entries from all over the world and will be announced at the E-Learning Awards gala evening at the London Marriot Hotel Grosvenor Square on 10th November 2011.

e2train and AstraZeneca have been shortlisted in the category Excellence in the production of learning content within the private sector. Working in partnership, the two companies have created a successful e-learning solution that has delivered measurable benefits and addressed a critical organisational challenge.

Said Rob Caul, Managing Director of e2train:

"We are delighted to have been shortlisted for one of the E-Learning Awards for the third time running in what has been reported as being a truly exceptional year for entries. The E-Learning Awards are a real mark of excellence and recognise the innovation and business benefits that can be achieved through e-learning today."

In 2010, e2train was awarded the Gold Award for Excellence in the production of learning content within the public sector for its innovative work with Gloucester Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Gloucestershire NHS was looking to save costs and reduce the time associated with classroom training for delivering its compliance requirements. The e2train content team developed seven e-learning packages, including a critical fire-training course. Each of the courses demonstrated a high level of interaction.
