Following on from e2train's recent success in being chosen to supply their Kallidus LMS and Authoring solution to the Leeds and Holbeck Building Society, a further three top UK building societies: The Newcastle, Portman and Yorkshire have chosen the Kallidus Learning Management System to help deploy and track their e-Learning and other training activities. In addition, the Newcastle and Portman Building Societies have chosen e2train's Kallidus Authoring System to allow them to produce e-learning content in-house.

Rob Caul, Managing Director said "we are delighted to be working with more of the UK's leading building societies helping them to meet the requirements of the legislation being introduced by the Financial Services Authority during 2005."

The Yorkshire Building Society employs around 2100 employees across its Head Office and 131 branches. The Yorkshire is using Kallidus to enable colleagues to have much greater control of their personal learning plans. Gary Marlow, Training Manager said "We're hopeful that every training manager's dream - learners taking responsibility for their own development - will come a few steps closer. Kallidus offers us a combination of value for money and flexibility. With the demands of FSA regulation dominating our industry at the moment, we're finding that Kallidus will be an invaluable tool in ensuring we not only offer the right blend of training to our staff, but that we can effectively track and report on who has done what". Further, "The ease with which we can deploy internally produced e-learning content is also another major driver in our decision to purchase e2train's solution."

The Newcastle Building Society employs 770 people across 52 branches of which two are based in Gibraltar. The Society is constantly looking to take advantage of new technologies in order to provide innovative products and services to their members, and this philosophy is extended to staff training. Having considered other systems and spoken with other societies using the Kallidus LMS and Authoring solution, the decision to work with e2train was based on value for money, support and the overall functionality provided by Kallidus.

"The Portman Building Society employs 2,000 staff. The majority work at its Head Office in Bournemouth and across a network of some 150 branches. A number of staff also work in Wolverhampton at the Administration Centre for Portman's regional brand, The Staffordshire. Rob Foster, Training Officer, said 'The Kallidus system will greatly enhance our capability to train track and assess people's competence in readiness for mortgage regulation. Portman are pleased to be working with e2train, who we feel not only offer the right solution, but also the level of support and service that we are seeking."

Rob Caul, added "the addition of these three Building Societies together with the Coventry, the Leeds & Holbeck and Nationwide Trust makes e2train the leading provider of Learning Management Systems and Authoring solutions to the UK's Building Society sector. Kallidus as a solution is well placed to assist companies that need to comply with mandatory legislation"
