The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) has congratulated Sytner Group on achieving fourth place in the Sunday Times newspaper's annual 'Top 20 Best Big Companies to Work For.'

Now in its fourth year, the list is compiled from an assessment of employee satisfaction, which showed that 81% of staff at the motor group believe managers talk openly and honestly with them. Sytner staff also claimed that managers regularly express appreciation for a job well done (76%) and they are confident in the leadership skills of the senior management team (76%).

Commenting on this national recognition, Sarah Sillars, Chief Executive of the IMI, said: "Sytner Group is to be congratulated on this fantastic recognition. A company which clearly embraces the importance of excellent leadership and management skills in team performance, the group has bucked the trend for high staff turnover in our sector, proving that a culture which recognises staff achievements increases their loyalty."

"Improving management and leadership skills in the automotive sector is one of the IMI's 'big wins' and Sytner Group is flying the flag with pride. This is great news for our industry," continued Sillars.
