Leading Systems Vendor Seeks Content Partners for NHS eLearning Portal

London, UK Learning Newsikonami

As a part of the recent shake-up in the NHS learning and development space ikonami, a leading human capital management (HCM) systems company, is sourcing quality content for the NHS.

ikonami has provided the systems, services and support for the national NHS staff development system, the Electronic Knowledge and Skills Framework system, commonly known as the ‘e-KSF’, since 2003. They are now looking for exceptional content partners to supply materials for their integrated learning management system, AT-Learning. Implementing e-KSF and AT-Learning offers organisations a joined up approach to performance and learning management.

Chief Operating Officer, Arif Ahmed, explains: “We are looking to consolidate our position as a leading HCM systems provider to the public sector this year, by partnering with leading edge content providers. As the NHS technology landscape changes, more systems and content vendors will find themselves operating in silos, offering a product or service of limited strategic value. By leveraging e-KSF’s position at the heart of the NHS appraisal process, as these legacy contracts expire, we can offer a sustainable channel to market.”

ikonami is currently in discussion with a number of content providers to place eLearning courses on AT-Learning. Those organisations with existing courses will be able to migrate all legacy data to AT-Learning, as a part of the implementation process.

A number of exciting new features are planned for later on this year including fuller web 2.0 functionality, eCommerce, redesigned evaluation processes and simulation based offerings.
