In response to global demand for this growing IT Security skills standard, gtslearning, an international training content provider, has today launched a new course for CompTIA's Security+ Certification. The content has been fully validated through the CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum (CAQC) with high scores.

The new 'CompTIA Security+ Certification' courseware, developed by gtslearning to CompTIA's CAQC standards, has been created for training centres to deliver as a five day course or as part of a blended learning solution. The CAQC approval guarantees that the course delivers 100% of the exam objectives.

Robin Adda, Managing Director of gtslearning commented:
"Internet crime affects nearly two-thirds of British firms. With this constant threat, employee security awareness is rapidly gaining importance within companies."

CompTIA's Security+ Certification provides benchmark, vendor-neutral validation of operational security concepts. "By adopting Security+ Certification as a standard, employers can ensure that their technical staff are competent to provide defence in depth."

An example of security becoming an integrated part of organisational training is the US Department of Defence, which has mandated CompTIA Security+ as a credential for its 80,000 information assurance personnel.

"The addition of Security+ to our comprehensive portfolio of officially approved CompTIA certification courses further establishes gtslearning as the leading provider of learning content for CompTIA certification" commented Robin Adda.
