GTSLearning launches new self-paced study tools for European Computer Driving Licence ("ECDL") qualification; products reflect growth in market for individual learning.

GTSLearning has today announced the launch of two self-paced products to prepare students for the popular ECDL qualification. More than 4,000,000 individuals around the world have already qualified with ECDL and this number is expected to increase significantly by 2010.

'ECDL v4 with Windows XP and Office XP' is a fully-featured CBT application that will help students achieve the knowledge standard required for ECDL in the shortest possible time. The product includes assessments, progress checks, bookmarks and exam practice tests to ensure individual learning targets are created and achieved.

Developed by BIT Media Solution in Austria in a joint venture with Siemens, the ECDL CBT has been implemented by schools, government departments and corporations across Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Distributed in the UK by gtslearning, 'ECDL v4 with Windows XP and Office XP' is delivered on CD and is also available as a product licence for use in the classroom or as an online learning solution either with its own LMS or for use on a third party LMS. It is fully SCORM and AICC compliant and is approved by the ECDL Foundation.

Also new from GTSLearning is the Navigator series of self-paced books. Based on GTSLearning's popular classroom content for ECDL, the Navigator series has been optimized for self-paced learning and provides a fast way for students to learn ECDL anytime, anywhere. Supplemented by online resources accessed thought a secure website, Navigator provides a true blended learning solution for ECDL students.

Navigator series titles are available for Windows XP and Office System 2003; Windows 2000 and Office 2000; and Windows XP and Office XP.

In addition to these new self-paced products from GTSLearning, a complete range of learning solutions for ECDL are available, including classroom courseware (and print licences); online learning; and 24x7 live mentoring.

"In 2005, we have seen a growth in demand for ECDL study solutions and there is a clear need for good quality self-paced learning," said Robin Adda, Managing Director of GTSLearning.

"These new products are a perfect complement to our existing portfolio and will help to meet these demands head-on."
