GTSlearning plc, a leading global provider of IT courseware and delivery solutions, has today announced the formal approval of its latest content for A+ Certification under CompTIA’s CAQC programme.

GTSlearning is one of the very first providers of approved content for the revised A+ Certification objectives scheduled for launch in late-November 2003. The courseware, which has been available to order from GTSlearning since June, covers all learning objectives from the upcoming release.

Two courses are available – A+ Certification: PC Hardware Support Skills v.10 and A+ Certification: Operating Systems Technologies Support Skills – and both titles have been approved by CompTIA as meeting the objectives of the CAQC (CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum) approval programme.

The final assessment report, carried out for CompTIA by ProCert Labs, states that “this course is intelligently written, well-designed, technically accurate, and provides you with all the practice you will need to successfully challenge the CompTIA A+ exam. The course content is easily navigable and well organized.”

“A+ Certification has always been an integral part of our business and our commitment to delivering the very best content to our partners has never been stronger. We have helped to drive international demand for the qualification and maintain a sense of “ownership” as a Cornerstone Funding Partner for A+ Certification and member of the A+ Certification Advisory Panel” said Robin Adda, Managing Director of GTSlearning.

“The update to A+ Certification is timely and, based on current sales levels, we predict significant market growth for these products once the new objectives have been released this November. We would hope that the 100% pass we achieved in our CAQC review will consolidate this.”
