GTSlearning plc, a leading global provider of IT courseware and delivery solutions, has today announced a groundbreaking approach to the supply of learning content with the launch of its new "Freestyle" blended learning packages.

Freestyle content packages are provided with standard courseware at no additional cost and will give training providers a competitive advantage that is essential in today's difficult trading environment. With less time being spent in the classroom and more emphasis on "out-of-hours" study, Freestyle enables training providers to select from a pool of best-of-breed tools and effectively deliver a complete package of education and support. Each Freestyle content package includes the following components:

Instructor-led courseware or self-paced LearnIT books. Complete range of instructor-led and self-paced content from GTSlearning, many titles having vendor/accrediting body approval.

24 x7 interactive live support. "Freestyle" students will automatically get free access to a live mentoring service. This will provide round the clock connection with certified instructors who are both subject matter experts and are fully conversant with both gtslearning courseware content. Uniquely, this support service provides a guaranteed response time of less than three minutes for each query. This virtual classroom environment will also enable students to chat to other students and tutors and review FAQs on their study subject.

e-learning. Freestyle provides free access to web-based e-learning content with the majority of packages. The e-learning site gives the student access to a complete course in their subject plus direct links to help and assistance through the 24x7 mentoring service. Full administrator reporting facilities are also available.

e-reading. Students can download a non-printable version of their course notes from the dedicated gtssupport.com. The courseware can then be copied to CD or another PC for searchable, anytime, anywhere access to their course content.
