GTSLearning partners with Knowledgepool to provide 24x7 live mentored student support

Under the agreement, students using gtslearning’s e-learning, classroom-based and self-paced learning content (through book, CD and web), will get 24x7 live online access to dedicated classrooms with industry-certified mentors.

LONDON, ENGLAND – 4 June 2002 – GTSLearning plc, a leading provider of IT courseware content and delivery solutions, has today announced the signing of an agreement to provide KnowledgePool’s live online mentoring services to the gtspartner channel and student base.

Under the agreement, students using gtslearning’s e-learning, classroom-based and self-paced learning content (through book, CD and web), will get 24x7 live online access to dedicated classrooms with industry-certified mentors.

Certification products covered by this agreement include CompTIA’s A+ Certification, Network+ Certification and i-Net+ Certification; International/European Computer Driving Licence; Microsoft Office User Specialist; and the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Support for other qualifications, such as Cisco’s CCNA, will follow later in the year.

The adoption of KnowledgePool’s mentoring services significantly increases gtslearning’s penetration in the e-learning market and follows the recent announcement of a content-rich learning management system. Mentoring will be fully integrated into the LMS and will be a feature of other gtslearning products that are scheduled for launch in the coming months.
