Global Knowledge announced today its readiness to support Cisco Channel Partners with the new advanced-level Architecture Specialisations, which were recently announced during the worldwide Cisco Partner Summit 2011 in New Orleans, United States.

The new advanced level specialisations, Borderless Networks, Collaboration and Data Center, recognize the Cisco Partner's depth of expertise in a specific architecture, enabling them to differentiate in a highly competitive market. These new Cisco Architecture Specialisations are building blocks and a key requirement of the Cisco Partner program.

"Moving from a focus on advanced technologies to a focus on architectural plays, Cisco enables Partners to move from having a technology conversation to having a business conversation with their customers" commented Jeff Wheeldon, Global Knowledge's Cisco Business Development Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). "The new specialisations provide the underlying skills to begin to migrate to this new way of business."

To help Cisco Channel Partners drive return-on-investment through their specialised capabilities, Global Knowledge offers its exclusive Fit4Business® program, which simplifies the complexities associated with achieving, maintaining, and enhancing Partner status.

"Global Knowledge recognizes the launch of the new architecture specializations as the building blocks to achieve Cisco's one architecture vision" said Richard Pryor-Jones, EMEA President for Global Knowledge. "We are deeply committed to enabling Cisco Channel Partners to achieve certifications, specialisations and competency requirements. With our expertise and global footprint, we can rapidly deliver high-quality and highly relevant training solutions to enable Channel Partners to attain proficiency in Cisco's new specialisations."
