E-consultancy announces the first of a series of social media training events, 'Harnessing the Power of Social Media', October 31st 2007.

Some of the UK's most prominent social media strategists and marketers have been invited to share their insights, experience and views on marketing and public relations best practice in a dynamic and chaotic medium.

The event is aimed at digital and traditional marketers and public relations professionals wishing to immerse themselves in relevant social media topics such as open debate, crowdsourcing, blogging, social networks, virtual worlds, social tagging, social search, online reputation management, mashups, APIs and to better understand the benefits and threats to their business.
