Avant Homes selects the Agylia LMS for new approach to employee learning

Bristol, UKLearning NewsCivica

Agylia is pleased to announce that housebuilder Avant Homes has selected the Agylia Learning Management System (LMS) to provide employees with access to on-demand digital and blended learning programmes, to improve knowledge and ongoing development.

Avant Homes Group is one of the leading private developers of residential property in the UK. It builds approximately 2,000 homes each year and currently has 57 developments under construction across its five operating regions located within Scotland, north east England, Yorkshire and the Midlands.

Avant Homes aims to transform the new build homes sector through the continuous advancement and evolution of its brand, product and people. A new digital learning approach will play a key role in supporting its ongoing growth strategy.

Avant Homes Head of Learning and Development, Hannah Kirby-Suttie said: “Our people play a key role in the development of our business. With Agylia we’ll have a powerful learning platform to manage and deliver the knowledge and continuing professional development (CPD) our people need to excel in their roles.”

With the Agylia LMS, Avant Homes employees will be able to access their learning content, including eLearning courses, videos and performance support resources, whether they’re in an office, at home or working from a housing development. In addition to enabling self-led learning at the point of need, Avant Homes will be able to offer personalised learning experiences through the creation of structured blended curricula - providing individual learning pathways and development opportunities.

Avant Homes will use the Agylia LMS to deliver a wide range of learning programmes.

As part of its induction and onboarding programme, Avant Homes will provide new employees with access to a range of learning content that engages them with the culture and helps them to quickly feel part of the organisation. Switching from a fully face-to-face induction to a blended approach will allow Avant Homes to provide a consistent and high-quality experience to all their new employees.

With specifications, such as underfloor heating, integrated appliances and many other features, varying at each development and plot, the Agylia LMS will support Avant Homes in delivering its product training programmes by providing easy access to sales related resources - helping improve employee product knowledge and customer service provision.

Hannah added: “One of the areas we’re excited about digitising with Agylia is our support for new entrants to the housebuilding and construction industry through our apprenticeship or traineeship programmes. With Agylia we’ll be able to use the LMS for efficient recording and tracking activities, approvals and communication between learner and manager.”

“Agylia has been great to work with during the implementation stage of the LMS. They’re keen to help and we look forward to working collaboratively to support and develop our employees with our new digital learning approach.”
