Leading mobile learning solutions provider, CM Group, adds to its Luminosity Mentor range of learning and corporate communications Apps with the release of Android Apps for tablet and smartphone devices.

The Android Apps join the Luminosity Mentor range of Apps, which also features native Apps for iOS and Windows 8 devices. They provide learners with the ability to download and consume a wide range of digital learning and support content in a fast, flexible, and user-friendly way.

Along with the other Apps in the Luminosity Mentor range, the Android Apps will enable offline consumption of multiple forms of content, including responsive HTML5 learning content, mobile quizzes and assessments together with reference materials including videos, audio podcasts, Office and PDF documents. The App also supports integration with an organisation’s corporate news, blog and Twitter feeds. This enables an organisation to provide a powerful learning and communications channel to their learners.

The Android Apps also provide full offline SCORM and Tin Can tracking, and detailed analytics about how learners use the content and the App itself. This means that organisations can find out quickly which content is most popular and frequently used.

Chief Learning Strategist and CEO at CM Group, Tim Buff said, “Tablet and smartphone sales statistics, along with our discussions with leading organisation have confirmed that Android enabled devices are being used more and more as business tools. With more organisations beginning to adopt a bring-your-own- device (BYOD) policy, our complete range of Apps, for iOS, Windows 8 and now Android devices, provides a really attractive and functional way to deliver learning resources to employees, customers and partners.”
