Bray Leino BroadSkill has been successful in becoming an accredited supplier on the OGCbuying.solutions Learning & Development, and e-learning solutions framework agreement which is now available to government departments, local authorities and other public sector contracting authorities throughout the UK.

OGCbuying.solutions are an executive agency of OGC in the Treasury and were established to help Government deliver best value from its spending. Six 'lots' have been awarded to Bray Leino BroadSkill for the provision of training services covering:

• Customer Service
• Health and Welfare
• Human Resources
• Management and Leadership
• Communications and Marketing
• Diversity & Equal Opportunities

Although Bray Leino BroadSkill is already a major contracted supplier of a wide range of training services to various parts of the public sector, ranging from central government departments to local authorities, this award represents an important development as only organisations that have successfully met OGCbuying.solutions' rigorous selection criteria are awarded framework agreements.

Nigel Walpole, head of Bray Leino BroadSkill's public sector operations, says: "This complex and highly selective procurement exercise is designed to provide access to a suite of value-for-money learning and development and e-learning solutions for public sector customers.

"When the opportunity arose to bid we didn't need a second invitation. There is a long association between Bray Leino BroadSkill and many buyers in the public sector and the creation of this framework agreement will help to leverage this further.

"While Bray Leino BroadSkill handles significant business under direct contracts, it will be great to be able to offer our bespoke solutions under this framework with a greatly reduced procurement burden for our clients."
