Global powerhouse Tata Consultancy Services and UK educational and careers provider, The Training Room, have signed an agreement to launch the TCS iON Digital Learning Hub into the UK education and employment sector.

Set to transform how the UK education market engages and supports students, the TCS iON Digital Learning Hub is aimed at providing a first-class user experience, transforming the way students learn in an online based environment.

The TCS iON Digital Learning HUB is a Content Market Place bringing professional institutions with rich content and learners together. The Hub offers multi modal learning content including Courses, Assessments, Communities and Events.  It enables educators and trainers to deliver instructor led courses using social learning tools and at the same time provides a unique opportunity to learn at their own pace. The TCS iON Digital Learning HUB caters to learners across wide segments across the education spectrum.

Starting with the Health & Fitness/Personal Training students this month, TCS iON Digital Learning Hub is set to be rolled out across The Training Room’s full course offering, enabling students of Beauty & Wellbeing, IT and Health & Social courses to also benefit from this leading platform.

Andrew Powell, CEO of The Training Room, says:

“This is a major milestone in the journey of The Training Room; to secure such a strategic partnership with a significant global brand partner not only enables us to offer our UK students an incredible learning experience, but also allows us to leverage this technology to automate the transition from education into careers with our Corporate Partner client base.

We are now able to scale our business into international and emerging markets, where UK education is highly valued, and to help more people achieve their desired career outcomes through role specific training and education on the iON platform.”

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. V. Ramaswamy, Global Head, TCS iON said:

“This MoU will make The Training Room’s rich content easily accessible to a larger section of the learning and academic community and corporates. We are also confident that the The Training Room’s digitization efforts will help the business to retain its position as one of the premier training institutes in United Kingdom.
