OEB has published the first programme highlights for its upcoming annual event, which will take place in Berlin from December 5 – 7, and which provides delegates with information on  pre-conference workshops, session highlights, initial speakers, key themes and ticketing.

“Our team is busy preparing the agenda for our most important conference to date on the future of learning and education, which will take place amongst unprecedented change in education and workplace learning,” explains event organiser, Astrid Jaeger.

Initial speakers include Patti Shank, one of the most influential voices on learning design, Esther Wojcicki, educator, journalist and IT & OER consultant, Geoff Mulgan, author and chief executive of UK’s innovation foundation NESTA and Martin Dougiamas, founder of the open-source Moodle project.

OEB has also published a complete overview of its pre-conference workshops, which run on the 5th December ahead of the main conference, where delegates will be able to acquire a deeper understanding on relevant learning trends, such as how to create video & audio and 360 degrees VR content; use foresight techniques for future learning scenarios; build new quantified student apps; apply the methods and mindsets of design thinking; get improved data from learners feedback; advance learning design skills; fuse working and learning and much more.

The workshop programme is available on the OEB Global event website and provides details of nineteen pre-conference workshops, including: content descriptions, target audiences, outcomes, agenda and pricing where applicable. Delegates have the option to sign up for their chosen pre-conference workshops during the conference booking process. Seats for these are limited.

OEB is open to educators and learning and development professionals and attracts delegates from over 80 countries from all continents. Online registration is available along with further information via the OEB Global website.
