InSync Training is pleased to present the virtual BYTE session, "Modern Learning is Perpetual Learning -- How Do We Become The 'Google' of Learning?" with Jennifer Hofmann, virtual classroom and modern learning pioneer and president of InSync Training. There will be two sessions offered on March 14.

East Lyme, CT., February 9, 2017 — InSync Training, LLC, the leading provider of blended learning and virtual training design and delivery, is proud to announce that Jennifer Hofmann, a pioneer in the field of virtual classrooms, and president of InSync Training, will be presenting, Modern Learning is Perpetual Learning – How Do We Become The “Google” of Learning?, as part of the virtual InSync BYTE series, on March 14, 2017, at 9am ET and at 2pm ET.

This complimentary virtual session is intended for Learning and Development professionals of all experience levels who are interested in learning about how to meet the challenges of developing programs for today’s modern learner.

To stay relevant, the Learning and Development field needs to think beyond the ‘formal learning’ box, and consider the shifting characteristics of today’s modern learners. The term “blended learning” isn’t descriptive enough anymore. Especially in today’s modern workplace where learning takes place perpetually – even when the training department isn’t looking.

This discussion will focus on incorporating the shifting characteristics of modern learners into learning design and designing learning campaigns that ‘connect the dots’ and consider what the learners bring to the table. Jennifer will also discuss how to become a trusted advisor to learners by providing pathways through collaborative, perpetual learning experiences, as well as how to build a relationship with learners that ensures that they come to Learning and Development professionals (and the resources we provide in strategic learning hubs) first, instead of Google or other search engines.

Jennifer Hofmann is a very popular speaker at industry events and author of several books. She is the author of The Synchronous Trainer’s Survival Guide: Facilitating Successful Live and Online Courses, Meetings and Events (Pfeiffer, 2003), Live and Online! Tips, Techniques, and Ready-To-Use Activities for the Virtual Classroom (Pfeiffer, 2004), and How to Design For The Live Online Classroom: Creating Great Interactive and Collaborative Training Using Web Conferencing (Brandon Hall, 2005). She has also contributed content to many training publications including the American Management Association (AMA), the Association for Talent Development (ATD), Training Magazine, and Training Magazine Online.

The InSync BYTE Series sessions are delivered through either WebEx Training Center or Adobe Connect. These sessions offer a bite-sized way to “Better Yourself Through Education” and network with those in your field. Attendees can enjoy cutting edge knowledge designed to develop skills and help accomplish virtual classroom goals.

Registration is available via the Modern Learning is Perpetual Learning – How Do We Become The “Google” of Learning? event webpages: 9am ET session and 2pm ET session.
