IFP back Calibrand/SQA RDR Diploma
Institute of Financial Planning teams up with Calibrand and SQA to offer the RDR compliant Diploma in Professional Financial Advice to all its members.
The Diploma in Professional Financial Advice is a purpose-built qualification for Financial Advisers which fulfils the FSA's Retail Distribution Review (RDR) qualification requirements and the post-2010 reformed Appropriate Examination standards.
IFP’s Chief Executive Nick Cann explained “The Institute of Financial Planning is very happy to recommend the Calibrand/SQA Diploma in Professional Financial Advice suite of examinations as the best option in the marketplace in terms of value for money, attainability and customer service. The price and learner support looks excellent and meets the requirements as set out by the FSA.” Cann continued “Looking at Gap Filling, many are recognising that doing an exam, which in the future could be tailored, to cover off the regulatory gaps is the most straightforward option.”

Awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), no fees or membership pre-requisites are required to Register for the Diploma through the Calibrand Adviser Learning Centre.
