A New Qualification for RDR: Calibrand launch Adviser Learning Centre
Calibrand the currency for talent® are pleased to announce the launch of the Adviser Learning Centre for the Diploma in Professional Financial Advice.
The Diploma is a purpose-built qualification for Financial Advisers which fulfils the FSA's Retail Distribution Review (RDR) qualification requirement and the post-2010 reformed Appropriate Exam standards. It is awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
No fees or membership pre-requisites are required to register. Financial Advisers are given access to free online training material and free online practice tests for the RDR compliant Diploma in Professional Financial Advice. Candidates can book the six unit exams required to achieve the Diploma.

A free practice exam is offered as part of the exam readiness process, following Centre registration, study material download and exam booking. A practice exam score of over 70% deems a candidate to be ‘exam ready’. Should the candidate subsequently fail the unit exam by scoring less than 65%, they will be offered one free re-sit.
Saunders commented, “With limited re-sit time before the end of 2012, this process gives Advisers a clear indicator as to whether they are ready or not.”
The Advisor Learner Centre is utilising Calibrand innovations such as online essay exams and marking coupled with the Hi-STAK™ portable test centre. This means the test centre comes to the customer, delivering the exam at a suitable training or meeting room.
