Calibrand Leads Debate On Exam Security at European Test Publishers Conference

Derby, UKLearning NewsCalibrand

Calibrand will host a workshop on exam security at the inaugural European Association of Test Publishers (E-ATP) conference at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels that starts today until 2nd October 2009. The Calibrand workshop is entitled 'Preserving the Integrity of the Currency for Talent, Using Double Factor Authentication to Prevent Counterfeiting'.

Many organisations that develop exams constantly worry that their work can be compromised. This is also a major issue for students, educators and many other stakeholders. Calibrand's workshop will demonstrate a number of methods that enhance security and resolve many of these issues, while promoting debate on the most appropriate ways to defend exams.

Calibrand's Managing Director, Denis Saunders commented, "The assessment and test industry truly comes of age with this inaugural European event. Having been in the industry for almost twenty years, Calibrand is pleased to support E-ATP and its objectives along with demonstrating to our European client base the key facets and issues of assessment, such as security and candidate authentication."

With over thirty speakers over three days across three themes at E-ATP, the Calibrand workshop is a key component which is expected to see representatives attending from government agencies, test publishers, academic organisations, policy makers and awarding bodies.
