Recruitment provider to the learning and development sector, Blue Eskimo, is encouraging its clients to help build a clearer strategic picture of L&D, via the Learning & Performance Institute’s annual survey.

Blue Eskimo's own survey dovetails well with that of the LPI

Specialist recruitment firm Blue Eskimo, the leading dedicated provider of talent acquisition solutions to the learning sector, today voiced its support for the Learning & Performance Institute’s annual learning survey.

The Learning & Performance Institute (LPI) undertakes the survey each year, to investigate the most significant trends in learning and development – and to predict likely directions for learning in 2015 and beyond.

“Although Blue Eskimo undertakes its own annual survey,” says Blue Eskimo director Nick Bate, “the LPI’s survey covers completely different ground – dovetailing very nicely with our own research, which is much more focused on work and pay.”

Blue Eskimo and the LPI have a unique relationship – Blue Eskimo is the only recruitment company to be accredited by the LPI and, as such, uphold the LPI’s standards and code of practice.

Blue Eskimo believes that the LPI’s survey is one of the most important strategic research initiatives in the sector. “The LPI is a recognised champion of knowledge leadership in the learning sector,” says Bate, “constantly striving to encourage debate and engender positive change. Research is very much the backbone of the LPI’s thinking. It’s really important that learning and development professionals take this unique opportunity to share their knowledge and to contribute to not only the way the LPI thinks, but also the way the entire sector operates.”

Colin Steed, CEO of the Learning & Performance Institute, added: “The annual research carried out by the LPI is a unique and impartial survey which captures, measures and benchmarks trends within the sector – and interprets what this means for training, L&D or HR professionals.”

Contributors to the survey will be entered into a prize draw – with a chance of winning two full tickets to Learning Live 2015, to be held in September 2015.

The survey can be taken online until 5pm GMT on Wednesday 20th May.
